SEN/D

Equality and inclusivity form the basis of our school vision for SEN/D; our school site is fully accessible, reasonable adjustments are made to accommodate different needs and we have high expectations of all children as expected in the SEN/D Code of Practice.

We value a person-centred approach where the child and their family are at the heart of our practice. To this end, we always welcome the input of parents and encourage conversations with staff members to help us best meet the needs of all our children.

Mrs Katie Chaudhry has the responsibility of the SENCo role and manages SEND Support in the school.

In-depth information regarding our school offer of support to those with SEN/D is available below, as is a direct link to the Local Offer and other resources that may be beneficial to you:

We hope that our open door policy means that issues are resolved quickly in the best interest of the child.  Should you feel that an issue is ongoing and that the Headteacher has not dealt with it sufficiently, please contact the Chair of Governors at chair@gw.act-academytrust.org making reference to our complaints policy and its procedures.
