      Welcome to No Outsiders

At our school, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, respected and included. Through the No Outsiders programme, we teach children about equality, diversity, respect and belonging in an age-appropriate way.

Our aim is to prepare children for life in modern Britain by helping them understand and celebrate differences while recognising what we all have in common.

      Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs.

      What is No Outsiders?

No Outsiders is an educational programme developed by Andrew Moffat. It uses carefully selected storybooks and discussion activities to explore themes such as:

      • Friendship and kindness
      • Respect for differences
      • Inclusion and belonging
      • Equality and fairness
      • Families and communities
      • Diversity in modern Britain

The programme supports schools in meeting their duties under the Equality Act 2010 and helps children develop the knowledge, understanding and values needed to thrive in a diverse society.

      How We Teach No Outsiders

No Outsiders is woven into school life through:

      • High-quality picture books and stories

      • Everyday opportunities to promote respect and inclusion

Lessons are planned to be age-appropriate and encourage children to think critically, listen respectfully and appreciate different viewpoints.

      Our School Values

Through No Outsiders, we encourage all members of our school community to:

      • Treat others with kindness and respect
      • Celebrate diversity
      • Challenge stereotypes
      • Value everyone's contribution
      • Stand up against discrimination and prejudice
      • Create a welcoming environment for all

We want every child to know that they are an important part of our school community.

The whole school enjoyed a fantastic assembly with Terry from the Mike Mullen BMX Experience. Terry amazed the children with a range of impressive BMX tricks and spectacular somersaults, demonstrating great skill, determination and perseverance.

Following the assembly, pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in separate workshops, where they learned how to ride scooters safely and practised a variety of simple tricks. The sessions encouraged the children to challenge themselves, build confidence and develop new skills.

The children thoroughly enjoyed Terry's visit and were inspired by his enthusiasm and positive attitude. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Armed with an old map and a big hat, he told us all about his voyages while the children helped him figure out where he actually landed.

Lots of curiosity, lots of giggles, and a brilliant way to bring our explorers topic to life.
