Lunchtime

Due to children with allergies we ask that no nuts of any kind or in any product be brought into school.

We are making some changes to our school lunch menu in preparation for the updated School Food Standards, which primary schools will be expected to follow from September 2027.

The new standards aim to ensure that school meals reflect current nutritional guidance and support children's health, wellbeing and learning. We are introducing these changes gradually so that children have time to become familiar with new foods and so that we can listen to their feedback along the way.

Over the coming months, you may notice more:

  • fruit and vegetables
  • wholegrain and higher-fibre foods
  • balanced meals and healthier cooking methods

There will also be a reduction in foods that are high in saturated fat, salt and sugar.

We want to reassure you that our aim is to provide meals that are healthy, nutritious and enjoyable. Familiar favourites will continue to feature, with recipes adapted where necessary to meet the new standards.

Booking and Cost

School dinners will need to be booked in advance each week. A Microsoft Form will be sent to parents on a Tuesday each week, allowing you to select the meals you would like your child to have.

The cost of a school dinner will be £2.80 per meal.

School lunches should be paid for via Arbor.
