When starting at Great Wilbraham School 3 years ago, I was warmly welcomed by all the Staff and very quickly settled in due to excellent organisation and clear expectations.

I have had the privilege to work with an excellent team who are all creative and caring individuals with a wide range of talents and areas of expertise.

The children are a delight to teach:their enthusiasm is infectious and their love of learning evident in their positive approach to every challenge.

Great wilbraham is a community, where every member is valued: I will be so sorry to leave.

Just wanted to say how brilliant the spring concert was - Amazing!
I'm so glad my child goes to a school which is musical. I appreciate the effort you put in.

Thank you so much for the lovely plant and card you gave me and for organising the children to make and sign a card for me. It has been an absolute pleasure for me to come into your inspirational classroom and work with some of the children. They are so lucky to have you as their brilliant teacher.

Yesterday’s sports morning was excellent. Everyone I spoke to thought it was a vast improvement, even those parents who kept darting from one class to another to make sure they saw all their children. I liked the fact that the first part (with fieldmice) was about team achievement, that there was still an opportunity in the second part to allow individuals to show their talents, but that this contributed to the team and wasn’t solely about the individual. I also think the staff race should become a fixture! My highlight, however, was during one of the long distance races when a girl ( Robyn? Wearing a spotted top) was supported by the entire school to complete the race. That to me proves the spirit and values of our school. It is about the collective spirit and community. It didn’t matter if you were leading or bringing up the rear, everyone received support from everyone else. Really uplifting - particularly given the events of the day in Manchester. Job well done!

Please thank the teachers for inviting me on the trip to Wimpole. It was a fantastic day and I wanted to congratulate them for their meticulous organisation and planning of the day which made everything run so smoothly. The children were perfectly behaved and responded immediately to instructions. It was a great pleasure to accompany them and I look forward to the next trip.
